He..He..Hello Hometown!!!

I am going mudik to spend Ramadan and Hari Raya holiday at my hometown.
As I landed my ass here, I surprisingly got tons of greetings from the major candidates of the city spreading along the road. Few faces are familiar but the rest are new for me. One thing in common: the purpose behind the customized smile --> you know what I mean lah... :p
Duh, politics... politics...

From Cookies to Commuter to Oppo

Last week I went to aunty's house to make sweet cookies for Eid. We made 3 cookies: putri salju, nastar, and kastengels.

This week I joined a research conducted by a lecturer in my college's department. I was ordered to collect data by spreading questionnaire sheet to 8 respondents in South Jakarta's area. To mobilize myself, I take commuter train, angkot, and ojek. This time I would acknowledge to Jakarta's commuter train which has got a great-real-visible improvement, starts from it's comfort, frequency, punctuality, and also its progressive price. I can't imagine what would it be if the commuter schedules are still in mess, packed by hawkers, mean passengers, no aircon, no female coach, and take the flat cost no matter how short your travel.... BHHAHHHH... I might turn crazy in second.

From that, the more I realize how significant the presence of mass transportation in this capital city. It's time to abandon riding wheel's vehicle and turn to fast and efficient transportation like commuter train. I hope the manufacturing of Jakarta monorail will become real in very soon, so that the people in this big-ass city can travel in convenient and efficient ways.

Lastly... I am in bad emotion noww..... GHHRRAAHH...

I joined a photo competition #frameorama that offers Oppo smartphone and a trip to Raja Ampat to the winners...but... I can't upload my photo today... WHAT THE F@*#!NG HAPPENED???

I have uploaded 1 photo yesterday, but suddenly I can't do it today coz they ask me to "Like" its facebook fanpage. Ok, I immediately opened my facebook and hit "Like" button on Oppo fanpage, but I still could't upload my photo :( :( :(

I have tried to upload it again and again but it ended bad... I accidentally made mistake by deleting my yesterday's photo and my photo's point is now BIG ASS ZERO!!!!

WTFFFFF????!!!!

I m not that ambitious one to chase for it's Raja Ampat trip, nooo. All I really need is the smartphone. You know, I am still using conventional mobile. Not to say that I am an old fashion one, but I am not that type of person who follow trend of gadgets. Yeah... I admit that it's also coz of lack of money, and I personally would't ask for money to my parents for those kind of things. That is why I will start considering for it when I think I am really in need. And now this is the time. All of my friends today are connected with loads of mobile messenger application, such as BBM, Whatsapp, Line, Kakao Talk, WeChat, etc... excluding me :'(

All informations, discussions, and news are all broadcasted through those messengers. I am the only one who got them from SMS, which mostly come late :'(

Once I got that the competition offers a smartphone, I joined it with my full passion to chase that smartphone, but what happen noww...??? YUCKKK!!!!

Ah... Let's try some hours ahead... If it's still not working... Just leave that...

One Ramadan Morning

Selamat Menjalankan Ibadah Puasa bagi yang menjalankan.
Semoga Ramadan kali ini membawa berkah... Amieen...

Btw I just bought a couple of high heels...

What do you think, does it look nice?
That time I went to Elizabeth store just for seeing it's bags collection, eh... malah kepincut high heels. I think it looks fine as the color is nude so it will be suitable for formal event such as graduation party *MUEHEHEHE... modus detected*
And you know what, for a high heels, the price is relatively affordable: Rp140,000. My previous flat-sandal is more costly compared to this.

And...
As this morning is very fine and peaceful, I snapped some pix of my green housing environment, literally...
Starts from the beautiful cherry tree...

Hey... I want to pick that beautiful yellow flower...

Yeeaaayy... Here it is...

Happy Fasting everyone :)

D-Day Thesis Defense

Here is the awaiting good news: Alhamdulillah... It ran smooth. Not as scary as I thought.

The keys are: be (physically & mentally) prepared, don't underestimate ur capability of conducting your OWN research, know ur weak point and (most importantly) HOW to fix it, have a nice smile during presentation and don't leave ur sense of humor at home (bring it to the room really helps to ease you, trust me it works!!!).

Feel so relief but also a bit sad coz I have to put off my college student status in very soon. No more student's discount, no more ongkos pelajar, dsb, dst, but I just don't know, I feel so happy to welcome the next stage ahead in life :) :) :)

Roaming JKT Fair

Minggu lalu aku ngajak adik2ku jalan2 keliling Jakarta. Awalnya sih rencana ke Jakarta Fair doang, tapi karena kita salah info terlalu bersemangat (kita pikir Jakarta Fair hari biasa buka jam 10, eh ternyata jam 15.30) kita jadi jalan ke Monas dan Masjid Istiqlal juga. Here we go...

Di gerbang masuk kita beli kerak telor seharga.... Rp25,000 aja neng...

Udah tau Jakarta Fair belum buka, si abang kerak telor nggak ngasitau kita pula (kitanya nggak nanya juga sih, main masuk aja hehehe...).

first shot, masih belum dapet
nah... ini dia...
dan seterusnya...

Keren khaann....

Nggak tahan ngeliat orang meluncur main flying fox, kita jadi ikutan nyoba dongs...hahaha... Tiketnya Rp15,000 per orang, dan kalau beli 2 gratis 1 tiket. Lumayan deh... Tapi deg-degannya... Memacu adrenalin bangettt... Pas abang instrukturnya bilang loncat!!! Ciaatt!!! WHAAAAAAAAAA......!!!!!!

*cheers*

Photo collage

Just made a photo collage of my self... eng ing eng.....

Let's get started!
  1. I don't know exactly, probably when I was around 6 months. I think I was quite cute lah =_=
  2. I have no idea too, 1 years old maybe. Was taken with my brother on my right side but he get cropped.
  3. Again... I don't know what age is this. The hand on my left side is my father's hand.
  4. Why did I look so pale and miserable like that? This photo was taken for family photoshoot when my mom was pregnant for my younger brother. Was I just angry, hungry, or sleepy that time?
  5. Say cheers...!!! Time for junior high school. Btw, I already started wearing head scarf that time.
  6. It's high school I guess. So busy with studying and no time for hair caring = cut them super short.
  7. Aha... College time.. This time I went to snap a picture with my favorite book writer.
  8. Smile smile... Was taken before my friend's thesis colloquium. I was smile very happily while she was so nervous beside me.
  9. Just taken some 1 month ago on my cousin's wedding. Try to frown my smile a little lah.

Teeth Got Cleaned

The last time I visited dentist was around 6 months ago, so yesterday I went to revisit coz my teeth have been feeling dirty for the past 1 month.

Hiiii.....looks scary ha?
Don't worry I won't eat you coz I am half vegetarian
You see my teeth? The lower part is very tight and looks messy like an angkot bangku 4 diisi 5, hahaha... Once a while I am thinking about putting braces there but then I realise that it would dry up my father's account so it's ok lah. I m sure that it's not affect too much in my smile's appearance coz my upper teeth are quite nice. Some cataract people even say it looks like Marshanda's smile, hahahaha.....

Sorry my twin sist, I stole ur pict from google
Good morning all :)

Subscribing A Blog

One day I was browsing thru something that I stumbled upon a very eye catching blog. It looks very attractive to me coz its said on the tagline that everyone's reading it. I keep rolling post by post to know who is the author, how is her background, what makes people read her blog, and so on. One of the awesome thing I find is that the author have started blogging since 2003! Wow! Let me do some recall about what I was doing in 2003: 12 years old, was so nervous facing transition from elementary to junior high school, started making trouble since imbalance of hormone and I am sure that I had never heard about the existence of internet, hahaha...

Let me tell a bit about the author. She is a Singaporean named Wendy, or also known as Xiaxue. She is blogging about her life, activities, thought, narcissism photograph, and any kind of stuffs just like another bloggers. What makes her become so known is her straight-forward words and controversial plastic surgeries she had done. Beside that, I also impressed with her love story that seems familiar to me :p

header of the blog. looks so tempting, eh?

At first, I felt so errr... gila banget ini cewek... suntik sana, oplas sini, rambut warna-warni, nggak banget deh... And she is also like can't be apart from "fucking" word (coz her blog contains lots of those), hedonism, and so on. But then I kept rolling, reading post by post on her blog, visited her youtube channel and ow... she has her own online reality show: Xiaxue-Guide to Life. I then started watching one episode, continued with one more, and two more, three more...
And well... I am getting to like her.

I don't know, but reading her words in blog seems very different than watching her live in youtube video. If I got her as a rude and sarcasm person in blog, in youtube I see her as a very funny, spontaneous, and annoyingly happy personality. Never thought that she has a warmly positive charm. From her blog and video I also learn a lot about Singapore, particularly Singlish with its funny phrases such as oi, lah, meh, lor, can, ah,  etc. I give my 2 thumbs up for her coz from blogging alone she can be known by people, earn money by receiving lots of ads, gain her life thru sponsors, and meet famous people. How powerful a blog can impact one's life, moreover if it's supported by a good entertainment-management too.
And now... it's time to upgrade my blog subscription list lah...

Cleaning Up

I just did some beres-beres on my cabinet and took out all things that I rarely wear, starting from scarfs, t-shirts, dress, and pants. Since few days back I saw a 'scarf-donating event' was opened near my place, I decided to drop some of my stuffs there while the rest would be dropped on a social event held by student council at my college.

I personally think it's very important to clean up your cabinet regularly coz it makes you realize about how maaany outfit you have so that you would know if they are still wearable or not. I faced some confusion to decide whether I should keep this or not, I still need that or not, and so on. Then I fall into conclusion: when it doesn't fit my body and I never wear it in this semester anymore, it's time to move to another cabinet. Trust me, it would be worth when they landed into cabinet of people who need rather than locked inside your cabinet, hidden at the most bottom row. (In case for foot wear, it usually ends up as below:)

:(
:(  :(  :(

As I am not a dedicated follower of fashion, most of my stuffs are just fine and comfortable. I also take care of my clothes nicely by washing them with my own hands and wearing them in turns.

Seeing some of them made me agree that it's better to pay a little bit more for nice-fabric clothes than pay cheaper for not-really-good materials, as time will reveal the quality of the product. And as what I have done so far, the way you treat your clothes really helps you to keep them in the good quality.

Finally, my cabinet feels nicer and lighter. And now.... I have reason to do shopping again.... ;p

Kick My Ass

Just rewatched this video which successfully gave some kick on my ass. It directly reminds me about my passion and the life I love to live passionately. Sometimes when you walked off your track, you would tend to forgetting the road you should have passed. Thus you need something to keep you remember about your initial purpose in life; what do you want to be, what is your ability, where do you want to live, what do you need to improve, who are standing there expecting and waiting for you, and so on. So, don't kill your self by running thru that wrong track (hmm... something very easy to say but very hard to do).

Btw, the full moon shines very brightly tonight that I can't stop myself taking its pictures.

Meanwhile... It throws my mind towards someone very @$*#!~ in my life... I hope you are fine there. Don't worry about me, I am fine here.

Attending A Seminar

Today I attended a seminar which talked about finance and BUMN issues with Pak Dahlan Iskan as the keynote speaker. For me, the biggest attraction for this seminar is about seeing Pak Dahlan Iskan in real. I have been familiar with him far before he became media darling; that was around 2006 through his articles in my local newspaper which belongs to his Jawa Pos News Network (JPNN). I was in high school that time and I really liked reading his articles which talked about everything from his own perspectives. My favorite topic is about his experience undergoing liver-replacing surgery.

I have never read his article in newspaper anymore since he left his chair as CEO of JPNN to serve the head of PLN, followed by leading Kementerian BUMN afterwards. All news about him came from TV and online media which I don't really like (the last time I watched him was on Kipas Princess talkshow hosted by Syahrini). Well, I personally prefer to know about someone's life from his/her own words coz it feels like he/she talks to you in person.

Pak Dahlan came to this seminar using public commuter train, something very uncommon for minister like him. As he stepped inside the room, every eyes were instantly pointing at him: to his white shirt with the rolled up sleeves, black trousers, very casual sport shoes, and no bodyguard nor assistant in front and behind. He started his speech without any lips service, straight to the point with full of smile and enthusiast. I wish more of personalities like him would come to lead this nation; less formality, more action, yet very humble.

Hope can meet him again and take a personal photograph saying cheers, hihihi...

Btw, I saw a girl infront me wearing shirt with houndstooth pattern. I don't know why but I find this pattern leaves some curiosity in me: whether it's line of black bats over the white base or vice versa?

The Cat's Story

Once upon a time in a very peaceful house, a beautiful creature came in and joined the family.

He immediately became the most lovable member coz he never disturbed anyone in the house, but... he suddenly disappeared. Left the family with confused and deep sadness.

Not long after... a reincarnation of him appeared with very identical physical looks, but with opposite gender.

She carried joyful to the family with her spoiled behavior and beautiful meeeeooww voice.

One day she came home very late after a midnight date with neighbor's male cat. That night she carried... her bumpy pregnant belly... OMG!!! Couple months later, she gave birth for 4 cutie kitten.

As the kids grown up, their mom suddenly disappeared without leaving any tracks, notes, or even heritage. The family members took over responsibility to raise the kitten with full of love, compassion, tears, and leftover foods.

Too sad, from the fantastic cutie-four, only 2 that still survived in the house: the 2 hugging kitten at bottom. The another 2 have ran away from house :'(

Story continues with the 2 surviving actors. As they became adult, they were getting so close each other. They roamed, ate, played, and fought together.

The house member sensed something unusual from their closeness... We often caught them having action like husband and wife.

Without any rain, wind, thunder, and hurricane, the female got pregnant! Undoubtedly, we know who made her pregnant.

Yaa, case closed.

They are officially a madly-in love-romantic couple.

Epilogue:
They have 4 children with very identical appearance like them as they were kids. Due to the babies' noises and stink of their pee and poo, the family members become soo annoyed but still, love them and feed them a lot.
